I read an article today called “Is a good husband the secret to a working mom’s success”? It really made me think and realize how lucky I truly am. Now don’t get me wrong, there are days, like today, that I would rather lock my husband out of the house but when it comes down to it there is no way I would be able to do it alone. I have so much respect for all you single moms out there!
A typical day I wake up at 5:30, run the dogs, take a shower, get the baby up, feed her, dress her and take her to daycare, giving her kisses goodbye and trying to contain my emotions when she does not want me to leave. Go to work, come home, play with baby, eat dinner, bath and bed. All sounds typical right?
But what I did not mention is cooking dinner, doing the dishes and picking up the house for the night. That is because I am married to a wonderful man who does this for me. So is a good husband the secret to my success? Absolutely, there is no way I could do this without him. So ladies, even on days you want to lock him out of the house, try to reflect on the things he does do for you, no matter how little or big…
