Healthy, quick dinners

After a long day at work, the very LAST thing I want to do is spend a ton of time in the kitchen. But, I'm also not willing to go get takeout or head through the drive-thru - my health is way more important than that! Instead, over the past five years, I've developed tons of quick, healthy and tasty recipes.

My friends and family have finally convinced me that I should start teaching cooking classes, so I'm doing it. There's a class this week, April 8th, and another on May 13th. You can find out more on my website - www.healthyjulia.com and clicking on the events section.

There are a few seats left for the class this Thursday - register at www.healthyjulia.com or call me at 503-841-6529.

Drink More Water at Work

Put a glass of water on your desk at work. When you get thirsty you’ll have the option of getting up and walking all the way to the break room for a soda or staying putting and having some H2O right there.

OB-GYN

I'm new to the area and do not have friends or family to rely on for referrals. I'm looking for an OB-GYN in the Portland area.

And recommendations on going about finding a good one?

I have a list from my insurance but I'd like to logically narrow it down from there.

losing baby fat.

I was wondering if anyone has had success in loosing the baby fat after having a child?
My daughter is now 3 and I have tried to get rid of a few inches around my middle and I am not having any success with it. I go to the gym at least 3 days a week. I am trying to eat better.

does anyone have any suggestions? I would really like to get back into the pants I was wearing Pre baby. I just need to go down one size.

Thanks
Victoria

A secret to eating healthy

I've been working to find what works for me - a full-time college student with three jobs - when it comes to eating. I think I've found a solution that is really helping me out a lot, so I wanted to share.

It actually partially came out of my newest job that I've been doing for about 2 months. I'm a Advanced Sales Representative for a company called Cutco, and I go into people's houses to demonstrate kitchen cutlery and other utensils to them.

Over the last couple months, I've been using what I have so far of the products to prepare my own food to take along with me during the day, reducing the money that I'm putting out for food significantly.

The great thing (well, one thing of many) about Cutco is that the products are the most time efficient ones out there, so that even those with limited time are able to cut, cook, and bake healthy, nourishing food, whether it be for a nice sit-down dinner at home, or a light breakfast on the go.
